Youth Advisory Board
What is the YAB?
The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is a peer leadership program for youth aged 15-26 who are currently in or have aged out of NYC foster care. YAB empowers participants to build a supportive community, challenge stigma, advocate for change, and raise awareness about important foster youth issues.
Meet your YAB Staff

Ana Quiñones
My name is Ana and I am happy to be doing a second term with the YAB. As your president I promise to listen your voices and take what you all say into consideration. The YAB is to serve you as the youth and I am happy to be able to lead it. I am currently a geriatric case manager for older adults who are homebound in NYC. In my free time I love to read, write poetry, play tennis, and I dance ballet! Looking forward to seeing you all for our events this year!

Eyhdi Osorio
I'm Eyhdi and I'm the vice president for YAB. I attend John Jay College and apart of the Macaulay honors, I look forward to collaborating with you all at YAB!

Cece Roberts
Hey, my name is Cece, I'm 20 and I'm the YAB treasurer. I'm an upcoming photographer & I like to listen to music whenever I'm doing something, it doesn't matter what it is, I need music. I'm excited to meet more of you this year!

Karmen Miranda
My name is Miranda and I'm a biochemistry major. I enjoy random conversations about anything and nothing.
