For Mentors

Your abilities and life experience may be of great help to a child or family in a time of need. For young people who are living through particularly challenging times, a stable adult in their lives can be invaluable. NYC Children’s Services and New Yorkers For Children are committed to creating and sustaining meaningful and potentially long-lasting relationships between caring adults and youth in care.

Depending on your availability and preferred borough, the Central Mentoring Office at Children’s Services can assist you to find the perfect mentoring opportunity.  If you are interested in exploring mentoring opportunities with a youth in foster care, please call the Mentoring Hotline at 212.341.0914 for further information.
