Flamenco dancers were right at home on Wednesday, May 7th as Spanish bridal designer Pronovias hosted the opening of their flagship New York store with New Yorkers For Children. A sponsor of the upcoming New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala, Alberto and Susana Palatchi of Pronovias were joined by NYFC hosts Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Vanessa Weiner von Bismarck, Annelise Peterson, Dabney Mercer, Lydia Fenet, Tinsley Mortimer, and Valesca Guerrand-Hermès for an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dancing in the multi-level 52nd Street store. Guests were transported to a Spanish fiesta for the night and enjoyed an unbelievable array of appetizers, replete with hand-carved Spanish ham flown in for the event. Revelers including Karolina Kurkova, Susan Shin, Stephanie LaCava, and Ivanka Trump kept the dance party going well past the anticipated 9:30pm conclusion. If the cocktail reception was any indication, Pronovias’ participation at the Gala will be truly remarkable.
